Hindu Unity Initiatives

When the UHDC was conceived, we were of the view that a perquisite to stopping Hindu conversions in our community would be to first establish unity among the various Hindu organizations in our community.

We have made numerous attempts to meet with the leaders of the various Hindu organizations in our community on a one-on-one basis, hosting unity bhajans, joint celebration of Hindu festivals, Hindu youth and family sports days, collective seva initiatives. Despite numerous attempts we have not been able to succeed, as most organizations are bound by the bureaucracy of their parent organizations.

Nowadays we have a different strategy in place to establish unity, we are creating various seva initiatives for Hindus to participate in, and this is proving to be a success.
